Certification Requirements

Earning the CMIP designation is a straightforward and rewarding process:
 
  • Attend all four specialized seminars.

  • Pass an online exam at the end of each seminar.

CMIP Designation Update Requirements

 

To maintain the CMIP Designation, attendance at a CMIP Graduate Seminar, or a regular CMIP Seminar, is required every two years after earning the CMIP Designation. 

 

Annual Update Credits
 

One of the significant benefits of the CMIP program is that, by participating in CMIP seminars, you can
satisfy your annual update requirements to maintain your CIC, CRM, CISR, or CPRM designations.

Continuing Education Credits
 

Each seminar is filed for 16 hours CE Credits and may vary by state. CE Credits have been filed in:

Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington
